Deaths Possibly Connected to the Jeffrey Epstein Cover-Up

Jeffrey Epstein operated a sex trafficking network involving underage girls and powerful individuals over the course of decades. He was arrested in July 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges and was found dead in his jail cell on August 10, 2019. His death was ruled a suicide, though his brother and many members of the public dispute that finding.

In the years before and after Epstein's death, a striking number of individuals connected to the case — victims, witnesses, investigators, journalists, associates, and co-conspirators — have died under circumstances that range from clearly natural to deeply questionable. Multiple individuals were found hanged. Others died shortly after cooperating with the FBI or testifying in court. Death records were sealed by judges. Key witnesses died before they could be deposed. Individuals who possessed damaging evidence died before that evidence could be fully explored.

This also includes clones-of-Jeffrey Epstein blackmail operations (that are ran by intelligence services). The question that drives this research is whether some of these deaths may have been connected to an effort to cover up the full scope of the Epstein network and protect the powerful individuals involved.

We're not sure that any of these individuals were killed as part of a cover-up. What we do know is that an unusual number of people connected to this case have died, and that the circumstances surrounding several of these deaths contain elements that reasonable people find troubling. The list below documents every known death connected to the Epstein case so that the public can examine the pattern and draw their own conclusions.

Patterns Worth Noting

Multiple hangings: Epstein, Brunel, Bowers, William Broeksmit, Middleton, Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington, Anthony Bourdain, Kate Spade, Ines Zorreguieta, Tracy Twyman, Michael Hutchence, Deborah Jeane Palfrey, Mark Salling, and Aaron Swartz were all found hanged. Middleton was also shot.

Banking executive deaths: William Broeksmit (Deutsche Bank senior exec, hanged 2014), Thomas Bowers (Deutsche Bank wealth management, hanged 2019), Aivar Rehe (Danske Bank Estonia, found dead 2019), Val Broeksmit (Deutsche Bank whistleblower, found dead 2022), and Daniel Anderl (son of judge assigned to Epstein-Deutsche Bank case, shot 2020). Deutsche Bank paid $150M in fines for managing Epstein's accounts. Danske Bank processed $230B in suspicious transactions. The gunman who killed Anderl, Roy Den Hollander, had previously worked for Kroll Associates — a firm with direct ties to both Deutsche Bank and intelligence agencies.

2017–2018 "Silent Children" cluster: Chris Cornell (May 2017), Chester Bennington (July 2017), Avicii (April 2018), Kate Spade (June 5, 2018), Ines Zorreguieta (June 6, 2018), and Anthony Bourdain (June 8, 2018) — six high-profile or elite-connected figures all died within 13 months. Five of the six died by hanging. Spade, Zorreguieta, and Bourdain died within the same week.

Modeling industry pipeline: Karen Mulder named Jean-Luc Brunel as a "child hunter" and accused Elite Model Management of supplying girls to powerful men — on French national television in October 2001. The footage was destroyed. She was hospitalized for five months (paid for by her accused rapist, Gérald Marie). Brunel wasn't arrested until 2020 and was found hanged in prison in 2022. Ruslana Korshunova flew on Epstein's jet at 18 and fell from a building two years later. Anastasia Drozdova died identically one year after Korshunova. Nadia Marcinko has been missing since January 2024. The modeling industry was a documented recruitment pipeline for the Epstein network.

Balcony falls: Ruslana Korshunova (New York, 2008), Anastasia Drozdova (Kyiv, 2009), Wendy Leigh (London, 2016), and Steve Bing (Los Angeles, 2020) all fell from buildings.

Deaths after cooperation with authorities: Steven Hoffenberg died after cooperating with the FBI. Efrain Reyes died after talking with federal investigators. Carolyn Andriano died two years after testifying against Maxwell.

Cluster in 2022: Nine Epstein-connected individuals died — Jean-Luc Brunel (February), Val Broeksmit (April), Mark Middleton (May), Ivana Trump (July), Steven Hoffenberg (August), Anne Heche (August), Kenneth Starr (September), Nikolai Mushegian (October), and John Connolly (January).

2019 pre-arrest cluster: Natacha Jaitt (February 2019, Argentina), Sabrina Bittencourt (February 2019, Barcelona), Isaac Kappy (May 2019), Linda Collins-Smith (May 2019), Jonathan Nichols (June 2019), Tracy Twyman (July 2019), and Jeffrey Epstein himself (August 2019) all died within six months. Collins-Smith and Nichols — both former Republican state senators who championed child safety legislation — died the same week; Nichols had authored Oklahoma's death penalty for repeat child molesters and created the OSBI Child Abuse Response Team. Jaitt, Bittencourt, Kappy, and Twyman were all investigating or publicly exposing elite pedophilia and trafficking networks. Jaitt and Bittencourt died in the same month — both had accused powerful figures connected to the Catholic Church.

Columbus/Wexner network deaths (1970–1991): Frank Yassenoff and Ella Rich (shot, 1970), Marjorie Dyer (car accident, ~1970s), Arthur Shapiro (shot, 1985), and John Deroo (shot six times in face, 1991) — all connected through Berry Kessler and the Wexner financial orbit in Columbus, Ohio.

Intelligence connections: Craig Spence (1989) — DC lobbyist whose bugged Kalorama mansion allegedly used CIA-installed surveillance to blackmail government officials; claimed "top level" persons including VP Bush's national security adviser arranged his White House access; left a CIA Director clipping at death scene. Robert Maxwell (1991) and Danny Casolaro (1991) both died the same year. Maxwell allegedly distributed backdoored PROMIS software for Mossad. Casolaro was investigating that same operation. Sealed records: Judge Alice Gray sealed all photographs and visual records of Mark Middleton's death scene. The initial police report contradicts the later report about the shotgun's location.

Deaths before key testimony: Craig Spence died after being subpoenaed by the grand jury investigating the DC escort ring. Arthur Shapiro was killed weeks before IRS questioning. Joe Recarey died a year before Epstein's re-arrest. Berry Kessler died in prison before questioning about the Shapiro murder's Epstein connection. John Ashe died days before his UN corruption trial involving a Clinton Foundation donor. Mark Salling hanged himself five weeks before federal sentencing for child pornography — his devices contained 50,000+ files and a child abuse manual whose distribution network was never traced. Natacha Jaitt died reportedly weeks before scheduled court testimony against Gustavo Vera, a close associate of Pope Francis whom she had accused of child trafficking on Argentine national television.

Attacks on judges and officials: Daniel Anderl was murdered four days after his mother, Judge Esther Salas, was assigned the Epstein-Deutsche Bank money laundering case. Victim deaths in Palm Beach hotels: Both Leigh Skye Patrick (2017) and Carolyn Andriano (2023) died of overdoses in hotel rooms in West Palm Beach — the same area as Epstein's mansion.

Florida concentration: Six Epstein-connected deaths occurred in Florida: Leigh Skye Patrick (West Palm Beach), Carolyn Andriano (West Palm Beach), Joe Recarey (Palm Beach), Roy Black (Coral Gables), Ronald Eppinger (Miami), and Deborah Jeane Palfrey (Tarpon Springs). Florida was the epicenter of Epstein's crimes and the original 2005–2008 investigation.

New Mexico / Zorro Ranch: Epstein's 7,560-acre Zorro Ranch near Stanley, NM is the only Epstein property never raided by the FBI. An anonymous former employee alleged two foreign girls were buried in the surrounding hills. An FBI report noted a barn with a chimney and "sally port" that could conceal an incinerator. Ranch managers Brice and Karen Gordon vanished after Maxwell's arrest.
